Monday Made It and a Winner!

Another Monday Made It and I am happy to share with you what I have been working on this week.
But first I want to thank everyone for entering my Giveaway, all the great comments and my generous bloggy friends who helped by donating...You are all wonderful!

Without further ado my winner is...

Eileen Griffin

I have sent you an email! Congratulations, I hope you love everything as much as I do:)

So what have I been working on this week?  Well I really wanted to use Brag Tags in my class this year. I think they are so cute and there are so many fun designs, but they are a bit pricey for me and shipping to Hawaii was more than the cost of the item itself:(

See living on an island in the middle of the Pacific is not all it's cracked up to be!  No Kohls, No Hobby Lobby, No IKEA, No Dollar Tree, you get the picture...

Well what do teacher's do when they can't find what they want? We make it:)

I bought some silver chains on Ebay...$13 Free Shipping for 50 of these 24" chains.
I made a bunch of different designs, printed them out glued a pretty background paper on the other side, cut them out and laminated them.  I have a Surfin' Into Ms. Gandara's Class for each of them, and I plan to make one with their name on it once I get my class list.
Do you like how I put my empty Birchbox to good use?

My next project came from this idea on Pinterest...

Pinned Image

I used a thick poster roll that my husband brought from work. He cut it up for me and I decorated it with my new tape.

I just need to find a cute box to put these in to organize.

Finally I made a Welcome Banner for my class.

I don't have any ribbon at home, its all in my classroom, so I will have to finish it and hang it up when I get in there next week!

So here are all of my fun projects for the week.

Thank you so much Tara for keeping me thoroughly busy this summer. My class is going to look fabulous!!
