Trip of A Lifetime!!

Aloha my wonderful friends!!  For the past two years I have been blogging and making virtual friends. I often talk about people and say "Well my friend in California has a great blog or idea that you should try"or I talk about a friend in Spain who is having a baby, or a friend I will be meeting up with in Vegas!

Many of these friends were in Vegas this week and can I say it was so wonderful and amazing to finally meet them!!  I cannot describe the feeling and camaraderie we all felt.  It was like we were old friends who hadn't seen each other in awhile!!

I am pretty sure I have added a few more wrinkles to my eyes from all of the laughing and smiling!!

This tiny collage is only a snippet of all of the amazing people I met!!  I was also thrilled to finally meet up with all of my collaborative blog buddies from the Primary Chalkboard!

Many of us roomed together and it was like a big slumber party filled with tons of laughs and giggles.

I was also able to attend the LOVE show at the Mirage with Tanja from Journey of a Substitute Teacher , Jen from Hello Mrs. Sykes and Jessica from Second Grade Nest!!  It was my first Cirque show and I loved every minute!!

The highlight of the trip was our final day at the TpT conference.

I believe there were over 500 teachers/bloggers here and it was truly amazing!!

Paul Edelman the founder of TpT was our first speaker and he was such a good sport and took a picture with Paul on a stick!  I was roommates with the hilarious ladies who took all the fun photos!!
If you are on instagram you can check out his adventures in Vegas at #imwithpaul.

Paul gave an amazing speech about how he founded the company and what it has become today. Truly inspiring!

Next came the sweet and humble Deanna Jump.

There was not a dry eye in the house after she spoke!!

I spent the day attending sessions from some of my favorite sellers and chatting with so many teachers.

I came home with lots of new friends and memories that will last a lifetime!

I also came home with some pretty awesome swag!!

It was a great way to wrap up my summer and get me ready for a brand new year!!  Yup, next week I head back into my classroom to start setting up, but kids don't start until August 1st.

So this week I plan to finish my personal lesson planner and finish a product that I have been working on.  Hopefully I will get in some surf time as well ;)

I hope your week was a fabulous one as well!! I have linked up with A Burst of First.  Head over to her blog to check out everyone's adventures!!

  5. Corinna, it was a pleasure to meet you! I'm sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you, but I'm sure you'll agree it was impossible to spend time talking to everyone! I guess that's what next year is for!

  8. Hi Corinna! It was so fun to meet you briefly while we walked over to the show. I wish we would have had more time to talk. Everything in Vegas happened so quickly! Thanks for posting that video. I was trying to explain the devil guy on the swinging thing and the visual was so helpful.
