May Day Is Lei Day in Hawaii!!

Aloha and Happy May Day!!  May 1st in Hawaii is a when we celebrate May Day.  We don't dance around a pole like you're envisioning, lol.  We celebrate the beauty of Hawaii and it's unique culture of making leis.


We will be making paper leis in my classroom today.



You can also teach your students how to make a lei from pipe cleaners.
