My Week In Pictures

Aloha Friday!! Whoo hoo, my favorite day of the week! Just got home from a quick surf and my house is quiet and pleasant.

Hubby on the computer watching a surf contest, and my daughters are both on iPads playing games, so I have some time to write up a quick post.

We have one more week before Spring Break! I am excited, but I have sooo much to do next week.

I just got an email from my principal telling, reminding me that I need to schedule a pre-conference with her before the 15th.  Whoops, guess I missed the memo on that one. So this weekend I need to decide what lesson I want to be observed on in April.

Now on to the fun stuff!  It's Friday so I am happy to link up again with Kacey over at Doodle Bugs for her Five for Friday.

We have some wonderful Pen Pals in Canada and my kids have been working hard on writing back to them before we head out to Spring Break.

It has been raining a lot, but the last few days have been really beautiful and sunny.  These flowers were blooming in my front yard, along with my roses, hibiscus and plumeria.

We learned about the colors of the rainbow and why we see rainbows. Then we made our own.

Lunch in my classroom today with some rascally, but sweet boys.

Spelling Test today and I was so excited to see how far these little guys have come since the beginning of the year.  All 3 of these students have struggled with spelling and writing.  The one on the left passed our Pre-Test on Monday and had the challenge list this week.  I am so proud of him!!

Finally, me staring out my classroom window at the beautiful ocean beckoning me to leave school as soon as possible to get in it!!

I had a heck of a lot more pictures this week, but I will save them for next week;)  I hope your weekend is fabulous!! Don't forget to link up and share your Five for Friday!

  2. That's sooo nice that you can pick your lesson for your observation. I'm told the week that my principal is coming and... SURPRISE!! She comes in every few weeks or so for walk throughs, so we're kind of used to it.

I'm jealous of your flowers... We have about 8 inches of snow :( I'm ready for spring!

  3. Beautiful pictures! My school is less than 10 miles from our beach. Can't see it from my window (boohoo). The flowers are gorgeous!! My favorite flower is hibiscus. Just started growing plumeria last summer. Our little branch bloomed once. The flowers were so pretty! I have to schedule my observation too! After 20+ years it still makes me nervous. Your boys look fun!! Have a great weekend!!
