Freebie Friday

Aloha friends!! How was your Thanksgiving? I really enjoyed the time off and cooking with my family. This year I made Prime Rib.  It was delicious and so decadent!

Are you ready to hit the Black Friday sales today?  I'm not a fan of the crowds, but good luck if you head out.  I think I am going to stay in and be crafty.

I just wanted to share a fun freebie center I created for you to use in your class this coming month.

My kids always need to review nouns so I whipped up this Christmas themed center.  I love the graphics by From The Pond! I just had to use them in something creative.

Simply download it, print and enjoy using it in your class this season. Please leave a review and let me know what you think.

Friday Freebie

Aloha Friday!!  So happy that my fall break begins this afternoon!  My car is loaded with beach gear and my surfboard.  I plan to be out the door with the bell!

Just a quick post today to share a little freebie with you.  

My students have been having a hard time remembering the different parts of speech.  I keep getting the old "What's a noun again?" or "What's an adjective?"  I just don't have the space for anchor charts so I made these cute posters to put up on the small space that I do have for them to reference.

Second Grade Freebies

I don't know if you have noticed but there are a lot of new blogs popping up all over the place!  Quite a few are for grade specific freebies.

Freebielicious if for Pre-K to 1st grade materials, but I grabbed a few items that could easily be used  for my second graders.


The latest is Second Grade Freebies.  A place to go to find great 2nd grade resources for free! Gotta love that.   I love freebies and I am happy to be a contributor!  Yay!

This week I came across some super cute clipart from Mercedes over at Surfin' To Success.  She has a great blog if you haven't checked it out, and she also has a clip art store at Teacher's Notebook.  I just loved her Halloween pack and her cute little bats.

Feeling Peaceful

Aloha everyone!  I feel the summer laziness fully setting in!! It's getting warmer here and I am spending alot more time in the water.  The surf has been perfect and one of my favorite surf buddies (FSB) just got here from Florida! 

I met her and her husband out surfing here two summers ago.  It was their 16th wedding anniversary and they were the sweetest couple.  We got to chatting in the water and I found out she was a teacher, same age as me and just as crazy about surfing:)  Well they have been coming back every summer and we had a great time out in the water today catching up:)

I hope the summer is finding you getting a bit lazier and enjoying time with friends and family.

I see alot of you busy little bees still working on some great items too.

Jen over at The Teacher's Cauldron has got some great new items out, a fun beachy theme classroom set, and a pirate theme!! I will definitely be using some of her items in my class this year!!

Erica  is revamping her polka dot classroom themes, so cute, and she's still in school!!

And Crystal over at Kreative in Kinder is blowing me away with her Classroom Sets!! I love that rainbow set!!

I also wanted to thank everyone for the comments on my Common Core posters!! I have gotten such a great response and requests for 1st and 3rd grade.  I even got a little nudge for Kinder!!  I am starting 1st grade soon and I will hopefully have 3rd done by the end of the summer, lol!! I just don't think I can tackle those Kinder CCS!!

I would like to leave you with a fun freebie.  I already posted for my Facebook friends.  One of the items on my bucket list was to work creating more with Photoshop.  So here you go:)

These are some fun digital backrounds with peace signs.  I love bright colors and wanted to use them for some ideas I have been toying around with.

I hope you can use them for some projects.  Let me know what you think, I am working on some others and if you like them I will keep putting them in my TpT store.
