May Currently

Aloha my long lost friends!! I have been feeling so guilty for not blogging in so long, so I thought I would join up with Farley for her very last Currently!!! I remember joining her linky when I first started blogging and it has always been one of my favorites.

My youngest daughter is such a busy body like her mama and she LOVES baking.  She just pulled out every pan in the kitchen to see which shape she wanted to bake her cake!!  I may have to invest in a new set of bakeware for her.

I am absolutely loving the gorgeous spring weather we are having.  I have been getting out and being more social and surfing much more.  Yesterday I was invited to a Waterman's Ball at Waimea Bay.

It was at a gorgeous house overlooking Waimea Bay.  I loved getting all dressed up and spent the evening chatting with good friends.

We only have 4 weeks left in school!!! It is going to fly by.  We have our annual May Day program in 2 weeks and it is going to be an exciting one.  My youngest daughter who is in 6th grade is going to be the May Day queen!!!  It is so exciting for this mama.  It will be her last May Day as she heads up to middle school next year.  Be ready for a long May Day post!

I am wanting and needing to do more with my blog and TpT store.  I just can't seem to find the time in my busy schedule.  Being on my own with my two girls makes the extra time that I have very valuable.  I have been spending that extra time enjoying the water and time with friends.  I kind of like having a social life again :)

I hope you are enjoying your weekend as much as I am.  Head on over to Farley's page and check out the other fun posts!

May Currently

Aloha! Happy May Day everyone!!  Today we celebrated May Day by wearing our leis at school.

Our Hawaiian studies teacher came in and brought in a special guest.  He was a native Hawaiian who was born and raised on Ni'ihau.  Ni'ihau is called the forbidden island and only has around 100 people living there.  It is a private island only open to native Hawaiians.  They live their life in the old Hawaiian ways.  My kiddos had tons of questions for him and it was so interesting to learn about the island!

May 1st is not only May Day, but time for a new Currently.  One of my favorite ways to share and see what everyone is up to.

I love Pandora, but it can get a little repetative sometimes.  The hubby punched in Henry Mancini and it has been playing this cool swanky sixties music.  I am diggin' it man!

School is going to be a whirlwind in the next few weeks, so I need to get myself in shape and keep my immune system up!  Last year I was so sick at the end of the school year from all the stress.

The weather is gorgeous here, but there are no waves.  I need to mix up my workout routine and get in more walks and jog a few miles a week.

I am off to go for a little jog, and then I plan to read what everyone else has been up to!

Go link up!
