Aloha and happy Sunday! I am feeling a bit better today. Still have the sniffles and a bit of a cough, but laying around all weekend has helped. I am happy to be finished with my report cards and decided I needed to get to work on my Visual Plans for the week.
It was much easier this week plugging in all of my activities!
For my Daily 5 rotations I added some new writing prompts to my center from Stephanie at Falling Into First. I think my kids will really enjoy them.
For Writers Workshop I have been reading The Four Square Writing Method and I love it! So simple and easy to get kids writing. This week we will be adding more details. I created the following template to use with my kids.
I have been really pushing some of my struggling writers to "Tell me more" and I think this will do it.

On Tuesday I have an observation planned and I told my Admin that I was working on improving our Problem Solving skills. That is one of the main reasons I created my April Word Problem pack. For my observation I will be using a larger template for the students to solve their problems.
I used the same 4 Square template and added on Another Way To Solve It. I know I will have some students who will be done instantly, so having them solve it a different way will keep them on task.
